Quality Asphalt & Maintenance started the way a lot of good trades do: with one person, a truck, and a willingness to do the work right the first time. That person's children grew up on job sites learning how asphalt behaves through a Michigan winter, and eventually took over the business themselves.
Today the company is in its third generation of family ownership, and it's Veteran-owned and operated. That combination shapes how the crew operates: discipline on scheduling, attention to detail on every pour and every pass of the sealer rig, and a chain of command where the owner's name is still on the truck.
The company's roots trace back to Charlotte, Michigan, and operations have since expanded into a primary office in Battle Creek, with crews still deployed out of the Charlotte and greater Lansing areas. The address may have changed over the years. The family running the business, and the standards they hold it to, haven't.
