Three Generations, One Family, 35 Years of Michigan Pavement Work
Quality Asphalt & Maintenance started as a small family paving crew working driveways and local lots around Battle Creek. What began with one truck and a handshake grew, generation by generation, into a company trusted by property managers and homeowners across lower Michigan for both commercial asphalt paving and residential asphalt maintenance.
Today the company is veteran-owned and operated, carrying forward the same trade that Shane Farlin Sr. and Alan Klaiss built decades ago. Shane Farlin II now works the crews as foreman, keeping the family's standards intact on every job site, from a small driveway crack repair to a multi-acre commercial lot resurfacing.
The company's roots stay planted in Battle Creek, with additional crews working out of Charlotte and the greater Lansing area. That footprint lets a three-generation family business still answer the phone personally, still remember a customer's name, and still treat every property like it belongs to a neighbor.
